Twin Bays Stable
TRAINER: KIM MULLIGAN
Twin Bays Stable (TBS) offers a unique blend of high-level professional training for horse and rider combined with personal attention in an atmosphere of camaraderie and respect. When you join Twin Bays, you join a barn where mutual respect prevails among riders, where safety of rider and horse is the highest priority, and where each rider is encouraged to reach for their personal best, however they have defined it. While TBS is a highly competitive show barn, with its riders have earning the highest honors in “A” and “AAA” shows along the east coast from Vermont through Florida, you need not compete to be a member of the Twin Bays family. Twin Bays recognizes that each rider is unique, and has individual personal preferences for what he or she is seeking in their equestrian experience. Whatever your riding goals, Twin Bays is sure to be the place to help you reach them.
Twin Bays Stable has been in business since 2004 and has been extremely successful in the show ring ever since. From its humble beginnings at facilities located at Redgate Farm in Newtown, CT and at facilities at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club in Darien, CT, TBS has evolved into a fully competitive barn at local, regional and national shows. Situated on the property of Great Island Farm, mere minutes from I-95 and the Merritt Parkway, TBS is located in close proximity to the numerous local and regional shows throughout CT and NY. Owner and trainer Kim Mulligan herself is a serious competitor, focusing primarily on jumpers, including at the Grand Prix level. TBS has successfully trained riders at all levels in the hunter/jumper and equitation rings–short stirrup through Grand Prix. Despite coaching so many clients to high ribbons at the most competitive shows and regional/zone/national finals, Kim will work with anyone willing to learn. Her ultimate goal is to have each of her students become safe, courteous riders with a lifelong love for horses.
