VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL  - week 3    Manchester, VT    July 18 - 23
We continued our second week in Vermont with as much excitement as the first - some of the team stayed, some new folks came as others went home. We were visited by friends from the barn who came up just to check us out and see how we were doing - that is so special, thank you!
Everyone challenged themselves to move up a level, and we are delighted with the progress everyone made! Congrats to Jamie, Ping, and Sarah for moving up to the 3 foot Equitation and hunters this week.
Some of the highlights include : 
Sammy Houle and Contenders Blessing were placed 9th in the 1.25m Jumpers!
Sammy and Butterfly Rouge were 2nd and 3rd in the Classic - and into the money again!
Lauren Hanny and Lights Camera Action were placed 6th in the Maiden Equitation 
Jamie Edwards and Upgrade were placed 6th and 8th in the 3 foot Low Hunter
Ping Ryan and Hemingway were placed 2nd and 5th in the Limit Equitation 
Abby Murphy and Ruler of Rome were 4th and 8th in the Novice Equitation and a 3rd in the 0.9m Jumpers as well as a blue ribbon in the Power and Speed Jumpers
Sarah Bibb and Romanov72 were 4th, 7th and 8th in the Limit Equitation 
Jamie Edwards and Miss Darcy WON their first class in the 0.9m Jumpers
Kim and TBS Rolls the Dice continued in the 1.30m classes and were 4th and 5th!


VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL - week 2      Manchester,VT    July 12 - 16
So happy to be back at one of my favorite shows in the beautiful Vermont countryside! We took 9 horses from TBS to compete at our first week, and everyone achieved personal firsts, improved riding and overall success! I am so proud of the whole team! 
Some of the highlights include : 
Sammy Houle and Contenders Blessing were placed 5th in the 1.15m Jumpers, also 8th and 10th in the Children Classic!
Sammy and Butterfly Rouge were 8th in the Classic - and into the money there!
Selby Molloy and Once a Warrior were placed 2nd, 3rd, 5th in the Maiden Equitation and 7th in the Novice Equitation
Jamie Edwards and Upgrade were placed 1st, 2nd, 7th in the Maiden Equitation which gave her RESERVE CHAMPION and 5th in the Novice Equitation
Ping Ryan and Hemingway were placed 1st and 7th in the Maiden Equitation and 5th in the Novice Equitation
Abby Murphy and Ruler of Rome were 4th and 8th in the Novice Equitation and a blue ribbon in the Power and Speed Jumpers
Abbey Steinkraus and Mr Big Shot were 3rd and 4th in the Limit Equitation and moved up to the 0.9m Jumpers, which they WON!
Jamie Edwards and Miss Darcy received blue ribbons in the Power and Speed Jumpers
Kim and TBS Rolls the Dice were 2nd and 6th in the 1.20's, then moved up to the 1.30m.


FAIRFIELD JUNE SHOW             Westport, CT  June 20-24
Several riders from the barn competed at Fairfield - and received some excellent results!
Jamie Edwards and Upgrade received a 1st, 2nd and 5th in the Fairfield Hunter Division which resulted in RESERVE CHAMPION! Jamie was 3rd in the CHJA Child Medal, 4th in the FW-PHA Child Medal; 3rd, 4th and 9th in the Children’s Equitation Division, and 7th in the Modified Hunter.
Abbey Murphy and Ruler of Rome aka Romulus were 4th Marshall and Sterling Junior Medal and 9th in the CHJA Junior Medal.
Sarah Bibb and Romanov72 WON the 1st in the FW-PHA Child Medal and 6th and 7th in the Child Equitation division. Sarah was also 8th in the Modified Hunter, the Fairfield Hunter and the CHJA Child Medal.
Lauren Hanny and Lights Camera Action were 9th in FW-PHA child medal.
Lauren Goll and Mr Big Shot were 5th and 8th in the Fairfield Hunter 2'6" and 8th in FW-PHA child medal.
Kim rode TBS Rolls the Dice, aka Lily to 5th in the 1:20m Jumper Class. An excellent show in the very hot CT weather!​


OX RIDGE BENEFIT SHOW          Darien, CT    June 13-18

After busy shows keeping us fully occupied for the past 4 out of 5 weeks, I am now catching up!
Selby Molloy and Once a Warrior were placed 1st in the 2’6” Modified Equitation with Sarah Bibb and Romanov72 also placing in that class. Sarah also was 4th in the CHJA 2’6” medal, and both Selby and Sarah placed in the Children’s Equitation.
Miss Darcy and Lily (TBS Rolls the Dice) both placed well in 1m and 1:20m Jumper Class respectively.
Some of the younger horses joined us for a day out - and thoroughly enjoyed their visit! Well done to everyone!

PRINCETON HORSE SHOW        Princeton, NJ   Sept. 21-25

Logan Book and Proverbs 15 rocked the Low Junior Jumper Division at Princeton Horse Show!! They were 1st, 2nd, and WON the Classic. It was so cool to see Logan's dream come true.
Samantha Houle on Butterfly Rouge were Reserve Champion in the 1.10 jumpers with two 2nds and were 6th in the High Child Jumper Classic.
TBS Rolls the Dice ended up 4th and 6th in the 1.20 jumpers.


FIELDSTONE HORSE SHOW      Halifax, MA          August 22-25

What a way to start the week off!!! Sammy Houle on Butterfly Rouge and Kathleen Flynn on Wilander were 1st and 3rd in the Child/Adult Jumper Championship

Hannah Regele on Mr. Big Shot ended up 1st, 3rd, and Reserve Champion in the Low Ch/Ad. Jumper Division. Logan Book on Proverbs 15 Logan won one of the Low Junior Jumper classes and was 5th in the Classic. She also won the 1.15 to make them tie for Champion in the Division. Samantha Houle on Butterfly Rouge ended up 5th and Kathleen Flynn on Wilander ended up 9th in the Marshall and Sterling Classic.   Psalms 23 was 6th in the $ 7500 NEHJA Jumper Derby Speed Stake

 

CHJA FINALS                 Fairfield, CT   August 17-21

Lauren Goll on Bring it On were 12th in the Pre-Childrens CHJA Finals.  It was Lauren's first finals and Bring It On's last show.  What a great end for him to retire on.


VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL   week 4
Janet Sparre on Caletino was 2nd in the Older Adult Eq., 4th in Low Hunters out of 40+, 8th in Adult hunter over fences. Amanda Bauersfeld on Mr. Big Shot got a blue in the .80's, was 4th in the .90 and 7th in the Child Low Jumpers. Kim Mulligan on TBS rolls the Dice was 3rd in the 1.20. Kim also on Psalms 23 was 3rd in the 1.30 class. Andrea Zaleski on One Above the Rest got a blue in the .65, blue in the .80's, and 4th in the .90. Alex Colbert on Espirit D'Coeur got a blue in the .80. Congrats to everyone at TBS.

 

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL   week 3

Abigail Murphy and True Colors move up to the 3' jumpers. She ran around and ended up 3rd out of 23 in the class. Go ABBY!!!  She was also 8th in the Novice Eq. over fences.Logan Book on Proverbs 15 move up to the Low Junior Jumpers!!!  Logan was also 2nd in the 1.10.
Samantha Houle on Butterfly Rouge WON the $1500 National American League Child Jumper Classic. Congrats to Sammy! What a great ride.... She was also 4th in the Marshall and Sterling Classic and ended up Reserve Champion in the Child Hi Jumpers.  Sidney Marshman on Once a Warrior was 5th in the Modified Ad. hunter out of 20+.  Hannah Regele on Mr. Big Shot got two 6th places in the 1.00's.  She also was 8th out of 45 in the $1000 Low Child Jumper Classic.  Kim Mulligan on TBS Rolls the Dice got two 1st's and an 8th in the 1.15 to make them Champion in the Division.  Kim on Psalms 23 ended up 10th in the $10,000 Welcome class.  Kathleen Flynn on Wilander was 3rd in the Marshall and Sterling Adult Jumper Classic.

 

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL    week 2 

Kathleen Fylnn on Wilander continued to shine!!!  They ended up 2nd in the 1.10, 3rd in the Adult Marshall and Sterling Classic, and 4th in the Adult NAL Classic.   Logan Book on  Proverbs 15 was also 2nd in a 1.10 class, 2nd and 4th in the 1.15, and 4th in the Child NAL Classic.   Hannah Regele on her new lease Mr. Big Shots was 7th in the .90 and 6th in the 1.00 jumpers.  Samantha Houle on Butterfly Rouge was 4th in the 1.00's, 4th in 1.10, and 4th (to stay consistent) in the Child Marshall and Sterling Classic.    Abbey Murphy and True Colors rocked the Novice Equitation division by winning the flat out of 18 and 2nd in the over fences.    She also got 2 blues in the .80 jumpers.   Lauren Goll on Bring It On got two 6th places in the Maiden Equitation Division out of 20+.  She also got a blue ribbon in the .80 jumpers.  Abby Steinkraus followed behind with two blues in the .80's.  Psalms 23 received a 5th and 7th in the 1.30 jumpers.  Alex Heartbreaker was 6th in the 1.20's and 5th in the 1.30's.   Alex Colbert on Espirit D'Coeur ended up 6th in the NEHC Medal.  

 

 Ox Ridge June Show     June 14-19

 What a great show!!! Kathleen Flynn , who hasn't shown in 2 years and is on a new horse named Wilander owned by Erin Witt, was 2nd in Hi Ch/Ad Jumpers and 8th in the Jumper Classic out of 30+ in both!!!  Psalms 23 ended up Champion in the 1.30's. Alex Heartbreaker owned by Claudia Colon was 2nd in the 1.20's. Lauren Goll, her second show in the 2'6, on Bring It On got a 3rd, 4th, 2-6th's, 7th, and 8th. Selby Molloy, her first time doing the 2'6, on Once a Warrior got a 6th, 7th, and  2-8th's. Logan Book on her horse Sham-Roxs was 3rd in the Hi Ch/Ad class and 5th on Proverbs 15, a horse owned by DC Sales. Conal Mueller ribboned in the NEHC Medal and was just out of the ribbons in the Low Ch/Ad Jumper Classic. Abigail Murphy on True Colors was 3rd and 5th in the Ch Eq Division and 5th in the Ch CHJA Medal.

 

 

HITS   FLORIDA   Feb./March weeks 7,8,and 9

Butterfly Rouge continued with the 1.15's.  He ended up 1st out of 23, 2nd out of 34, and Champion. Butterfly is much happier in the jumpers!!!  The last week we decided to move up to the 1.20 😎.   He ended up 3rd out of 20+ and 5th out of 30+..   Hannah Regele on Zebrina TN won the Child Medium Jumper class today!!  👍 

HITS has come to an end. What a great start to the 2016 show year. Logan Book getting great ribbons on her horse Sham-Roxs and moving up to the junior jumpers. Sidney Marshman riding her horse Once A Warrior for the first time and Janet Sparre on Calentino having some awesome trips in the hunter rings. Hannah Regele winning a jumper class on Zebrina TN who she was leasing for the two weeks. Conal Mueller getting ribbons in the Novice Eq on a horse he leased for the week named Zibbibo . Psalms 23 being Reserve Champion in the 1.40 and Butterfly Rouge Champion in the 1.15's.


 

HITS   FLORIDA - Feb.   weeks 4,5, and 6

Logan Book and Sham-Rox's were 2nd in the high child jumpers.  The following week, they moved up to the Low Junior Jumpers for the first time.    It was so awesome when we found out they placed 6th in one of the classes!!!  Carrie, barn manager for Debi Connors Kabana Ranch, won 3 blues, a second, and was Champion in the Novice Equitation Division on Hemingway.  Psalms 23 won one of the 1.40 classes.  Butterfly Rouge got a few ribbons in the 3'6" hunters, but that short lived.  He switched back to the jumpers and was 2nd in the level 4's out of 34! 😎  

 

OX RIDGE   Dec. 6

In the THIS/Sore no more/FW-PHA Medal,  Amanda Bauersfeld on Bring It On was 2nd, Ashley Mclaren on Mr. Big Shot was 3rd., Conal Mueller on Noble Call was 6th, and Daisy Gebbia-Richardson Tank was 7th.  Ashley was also 4th in the CHJA and 8th in the NEHC.  Lauren Goll on Bring It On won both the FW-PHA Medal 2' and the CHJA Pre-Children Medal.  She was also 3rd, and 6th in the Pre-Child. Equitation Division.  Annie Salvi on True Colors was 3rd in both the FW-PHA Medal 2' and the CHJA Pre-Child Medal.  She was also 4th and 5th in the Pre-Child. Equitation Division.  Selby Molloy on Once A Warrior was 1st, 5th, and Reserve Champion in the Pre-Child. Equitation Division.  Abbey Murphy on True Colors won the FW-PHA 2'6 Medal and was 3rd in the CHJA Children's Medal.  She also was 1st, 3rd, and Reserve Champion in the Child. Equitation Division.  Abby Steinkraus on O-Star was 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the Child. Equitation Division.  

 

PRINCETON -Oct 

Logan Book on Sham-Rox had a great week at Princeton. Ribboned in 3 out of the 4 classes with 25+ people!!!  Logan Book on Calexico was  3rd, 4th, and 6th in .90 and Medium Child. jumper.  Also, clean in the Medium Child. Jumper Classic.  Psalms 23 was double clean in both the $2500 classes at Princeton. Placing 2nd (behind Leslie Burr Howard) and 7th!  Abbey Murphy on True Colors swept the Pre-Child. Equitation and ended up Champion.  She also made her debut in the 2'3 jumpers and was 4th,6th, and 7th.  Daisy Gebbia on her new lease "Tank" won one of the 3' equitation Medals.  She also got ribbons in the jumper classes.

 

HITS week 6 -end of August

Great week at HITS!! The girls had ribbons in the limit eq, children's hunters and jumpers. Also huge congratulations to Daisy on the lease of Tank to be her new equitation horse!!

 

SILVER OAK

​Sammy Houle on Contender's Blessing had several great rides in the Junior Jumper Low's.  Clean but out of the ribbons.  Psalms 23 was fast and clean in the Speed Derby against many top riders.  Ended up gettting bumped out the ribbons towards the end of the class.  50+ competing.  Logan Book and Sham-Rox was 4th in the High Ch. Jumper Classic!!

 

 

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL  week 3 July 2015
TBS had an awesome last week at VSF.  Daisy Gebbia-Richards and Sir Logan were 6th in the Novice fences, 4th and 5th in Limit Fences, and got a blue in the .80 jumper class.  Morgan Mclaren and True Colors were 1st and 4th in the 1.00 jumper class, which made them Champion for the Division.  Morgan was also 7th in the $1000 Low Ch/Ad Jumper Classic.  Emma Rowe and Bring It On were 4th in the Ch. Low jumper class and 5th in the 1.00 jumper class.  Logan Book and Sham-rock were 4th in the 1.00 jumper class.  Samantha Houle and Contender's Blessing had their debut in the 1.20's and Jr. Jumper Low's!  They ended up 4th and 5th respectively.  Kim and Psalms were 5th in the 1.30, 3rd in the $10,000 Kate Spade Welcome class, and 4th in the $30,000 Otter Creek Grand Prix.   Conal Mueller and Noble Call won the .90 jumper class.  Paige Drippe and Under the Sun were 6th in both the $2,500 Marshall & Sterling Classic and the $2,500 NAL Jumper Classic.  Congrats to a job well done.!!

RESULTS
Abby and O-Star.... had a great show moving between the .80 jumpers and the equitation
Hannah and Mary... placed 4th out of 35 in the 1m jumpers
Morgan and Truman... placed 5th in the 1m jumpers as well as the low children's jumpers
Paige and Rex.. had a great week in the highs placing 3rd in a 1.10 and doing well in the classic
Sammy and ConAir... had a fantastic week getting some milage in the 1.20 jumpers
Psalms and Kim... competed in the welcome and placed in some 1.30s
Cupid and Janet... had a fabulous week wining a modified adult hunter over fences class, placing well in other classes and getting ready to do some pre-greens next week!
All in all it was a good week for TBS and we cannot wait for what week 3 has in store!


VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL  week 1
Week 1 of the Vermont Summer Festival has been a blast!! Great results, good memories, and most importantly awesome horses!
We will be here for weeks 2 and 3 as well, come check us out at tent 3.

RESULTS BELOW
Ashley and Hughie... had a great week collecting ribbons in the Low children's jumpers, as well as the novice and limit eq.
Amanda and Ruby... also had an awesome week doing well and placing in the Low children's jumpers, novice and limit eq.
Logan and Roxy... had a great week in the high children's jumpers placing 6th in the classic
Paige and Rex... had a phenomenal first week wining a high adult jumper class and placing in both high adult classics and wining a high adult jumper class (Rex is available to be tried the next two weeks)
Hannah and Mary... had a good week in the low children jumpers with a 3rd
place
Kim and Psalms.. had a good week placing 2nd in the 1.30s and competing in the Welcome Stake
Sammy and ConAir... had an outstanding week. Wining the NAL high children's classic and placing 3rd in the Marshal and Sterling classic!!

TBS had a great week at Fairfield and we are ready to leave for VT on Monday!!!! So proud of all the people and horses who competed last week.
Daisy and Logan were... 7th in the child equitation flat

Janet and Cupid were... 2nd in the modified adult equitation on the flat, as well as 4th and 6th out of 18

Emma and Amanda aboard Ruby.... had a great week in the children's eq and also had a chance to move up and show in the low children's jumpers!!!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST
Selby and Chloe were.... Champion in the short stirrup eq, champion in the short stirrup hunters, and therefore GRAND CHAMPION of short stirrup!!!!!!!!

 
OX RIDGE CHARITY HORSE SHOW
Show results of the Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show!!!! (better late than never smile emoticon ) TBS had a great week at Ox Ridge! Abby and Truman moved up to the 2'6 and it was Hannah and Mary's show debut! Results below..
Selby and Chloe (currently available for half lease in barn)... racked in the ribbons in the short stirrup hunter classes including a 1st over fences
Abby and Truman.... had a very successful move up to the 2'6 hunters and equitation and won various ribbons
Janet and Cupid... had a great show doing some suitable hunters and placing 1st in a baby green hunter class
Daisy and Logan.... had a great show placing 1st among other ribbons in the pre-low hunters and got the chance to dabble in the children's jumpers
Kim and Psalms... had a great week having some awesome clear rounds in the 1.30 and competing in the $5,000 welcome class
Hannah and Mary... had a great first week wining a low children's class and placing 2nd in the low children's classic
Overall a great week for TBS.. this week we are at the Fairfield County Hunt Club and we will be in Vermont for the first three weeks of VSF!




SARATOGA
Couldn't have had a better end to Saratoga!!! We are so proud of our riders and horses for rising to the occasion and representing TBS perfectly! Results below....
Conal and Hughie were... Division champions in not only the novice equitation but also the maiden equitation. After a killer time in the eq Conal went over to the jumper ring where he moved up to the 3ft and ended up 7th in the low children's classic!! Way to go boys!
Butterfly Rouge and Kim competed and were 5th in the welcome and placed 2nd in the Grand Prix!!!!!
Cupid (owned by Janet) had a good week placing 6th and 7th in the pre-green, as well as 5th and 8th in the open hunters
Conair (owned by Sammy) was 2nd, 4th, and 6th in the 1.20 jumpers
And last but not least Psalms competed in the welcome and placed 11th in the grand prix!!

HITS OCALA 2015
HITS Ocala is over for team TBS!   With great results, Psalms 23 was 4th in the level 4s and 3rd level 5's, Butterfly Rouge was 5th in the level 4s, 4th and 6th in the level 5s, 5th in the level 6s, and 10th in the Welcome.  Contenders Blessing was 3rd in one of the Child Jumper Highs and just out of the ribbons in the Marshall & Sterling Classic.  Janet Sparre and Calantino  got 1st, 1st, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th, 8th, 8th in the hunters!! With Ocala over, we are looking forward to a great summer!

STEPPINGSTONE HORSE SHOW- Nov
Abbey Murphy moved up to the 2' division with True Colors.  She ended up winning all 3 fence classes in the Pre-Child. Eq and 2nd in the flat class.  This made her Champion in the Division.  Amanda Bauersfeld and Bring It On won all 3 Child. Eq. Fence classes and was 2nd in the flat class.  This also made her Champion in the Division.  Daisy Gebbia-Richards on Sir Logan was 1st, 2nd, and 2-3rds which made her Reserve Champion in the Child. Eq. Division.  Conal Mueller and Noble Call was 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the Child Eq. Division.  In the 2'6 Marshall and Sterling/Fw-Pha Eq.,  Amanda Bauersfeld won it, Conal Mueller was 2nd and Daisy Gebbia-Richards was 4rd.  In the CHJA Child. Medal, Conal Mueller was 2nd, Amanda Bauersfeld was 3rd, and Daisy Gebbia-Richards was 3rd.

PRINCETON - Oct
Logan Book  and Sham-Rock was 5th and 6th in the Hi Child. Jumper classes.  This was Logan's first time doing the 3'6!!!  Sammy Houle on Contender's Blessing was 8th in one of the Hi Child. Jumper classes.  Psalms 23 ended up 8th in the $ 15,000 Welcome Stake class and just out of the ribbons in the $ 30,000 Grand Prix.  Conal Mueller on his horse "Noble Call" received a 1st and 2-2nds to become Champion in the Frog Jumper Division.  Amanda Bauersfeld and Bring It On was 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th in the Child Eq. Division.  They were also 3rd in the Marshall and Sterling Child Eq. and 3rd in one of the jumper classes.  Daisy Gebbia-Richards had 2-2nds and a 5th in the Child Eq. Division.

USHJA FINALS - Sept
Paige Drippe qualified for finals on her horse Under the Sun.   She competed in both the Team and the Individual. Unfortunately, two of here teammates were disqualified in the team competition so it put them out of the finals.   For the Individual Finals, you had two classes that went towards qualifying .  Paige made the cut and after jumping around a 1.15 course, ended up 12th.  This is a huge accomplishment!

SILVER OAK - August
Logan Book on her horse Sham-Rock received several ribbons and was 4th in the Jumper Classic.  Kathleen Flynn also received a ribbon in the Junior Jumpers.

VEMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 5
Hannah Regele won 3 of the 4 - .90 classes.   This made her CIRCUIT CHAMPION in the .90 Division.  Hannah also ribboned on Courteous in the jumpers, Kathleen Flynn ribboned in the Low Junior jumper classes, and Psalms 23 was just out of the ribbons in the Grand Prix.

I forgot to congratulate Hannah on her new mount Courteous,  a.k.a Curtis, as of July 1.

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 4
 Hannah Regele on Tag Your It was Reserve Champion in the .80 division with three 2nd's and a 3rd. Grace Steinkraus on Sir Logan was 3rd in the .65 jumper class, 4th, 5th and 6th in Maiden Equitation, two 4th's in Novice Equitation, and 4th and 8th in the Restricted Child Hunters. Abby Steinkraus on Bella Luna was 2nd and 5th in the Restricted Child Hunters. Psalms 23 was 5th in the $10,000 Welcome and 10th in the $30,000 Grand Prix. Butterfly Rouge was 11th in the $30,000 Grand Prix. Kathleen Flynn was 6th in the 1.15 and moved up to the 4' Jr. Jumper Division. Janet Sparre on Calantino was 7th in Modified Adult Hunter class and 8th in the Schooling Hunter class. Tori Haave on O-Star was 5th in the .90 and 8th in the .80 class.

 

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 3
Paige Drippe on Under the Sun was 1st in the TB jumper class, 3rd in 1.10, and 8th in the Marshall and Sterling Jumper Classic. Kathleen Flynn on Contender's Blessing was 6th in the Marshall and Sterling Child Jumper Classic. Morgan Mclaren on True Colors was 2nd in the Low Child jumper class and 2nd and 6th in the .90 division. Emma Rowe on Bring It On was 2nd and 3rd in the .80 division. Butterfly Rouge was 4th in the $5,000 Open Class. Andrea Zaleski on O-Star was 2nd, 5th, and 7th in the .80 division. Elizabeth Regele on Tag Your It was 7th in the .65 and 5th and 8th in the .80 division. Sammy Houle on Kiss My Class was 5th in the .90 and 7th in the 1.10 class. Hannah Regele on Courteous was 8th in the .80 and two 4th's in the 1.10 division. Janet Sparre on Calantino was 5th in the .65 jumper class and 2nd in the Modified Adult Hunter class.

 

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 2
Morgan McLaren on True Colors won two blues in the .90's to become Champion in the Division once again.  Butterfly Rouge was 1st and 2nd in the 1.30's which made him Champion for the Division.   Psalms 23 won a class in the 1.30's and was 8th in her first $ 30,000 Grand Prix.  Kathleen Flynn on Contender's Blessing was 4th in the NAL Child. Jumper Classic and 8th in the Marshall and Sterling Child. Jumper Classic.    Conal Mueller on Noble Call was 4th in the Schooling Hunters and received two 6th's in the Modified Child. Hunters.   Sammy Houle on Kiss My Class was 5th in the Hi Child Jumper class and was 3rd and 5th in the 1.00 classes.   Europe, leased by Sidney Marshman received two 2nd's, 3rd, and 6th in the Baby Green Hunters.  Emma Rowe on Bring It On was 6th in the .80's while Elizabeth Regele on Tag Your It was 5th and 6th.  Hannah Regele on Courteous was 8th in the .80's, 7th in the .90's, and 5th in the 1.00's classes.

 

FAIRFIELD JUNE BENEFIT SHOW
Morgan Mclaren on True Colors was 1st in the .90's out of 21 which made her Champion for the Division.  She was also 3rd out of 29 and 4th out of 21 in the Child Low Jumper Division.   Conal Mueller on Noble Call was 6th out of 34 in the Child Eq. 2'6" and 5th in the CHJA Child Medal.  Amanda Bauerfeld on Bring It On was 7th and 8th in the Child Eq. 2'6".  Kathleen Flynn on Contender's Blessing was 7th  in the 1.10 Jumper class and was also 7th in the M & S/WIHS Child Jumper Classic out of 20.  Paige Drippe on Under the Sun placed 5th in the M & S/WIHS Child Jumper Classic, along with being 3rd in the Hi Child Jumper class.  Psalms 23 was 6th in the 1.40 and Calantino was 4th in Low Hunters.  Annie Wilson on Ghepetto was 1st and 3rd in the Opportunity CT Training Hunter.  Abbey Murphy on True Colors rocked the Academy Short Stirrup Equitation Division with 2-1sts and 2-3rds.  This not only made her Champion in the A Section, but also Grand Champion for the whole Short Stirrup Equitation Division.  Abbey was also 1st, 3rd, and 6th in the Academy Short Stirrup Hunter Division.  Not a bad day for never competing at an "A" rated week show.

 

HITS WEEK 3
Samantha Houle on Kiss My Class was 8th in the Child. High Jumper class and did her first Marshall and Sterling Classic on her.  Conal Mueller on Noble Call was 2nd and 6th in the Maiden Eq. Division.  It was Conal's first experience at a week show.  Logan Book on her new horse Sham-rox was 7th in the Level 1's out of 27.  Annie Wilson on Ghepetto was 2nd and 7th in Maiden Eq. Division and 5th, 6th, and 8th in the Saugerties Child Hunter Division out of 18.  Kim ended up 6th in the Level 2's on Sham-rox and 2nd, 3rd, 3-4ths,2-5ths and a 7th on Europe in the Baby and Training Hunter Divisions.

 

HITS WEEKS 1 & 2
Annie Wilson on her horse Ghepetto was 4th and 5th in Novice Equitation over fences and 6th and 7th in Saugerties Child Hunter over fences out of 22 in the class.   Kathleen Flynn on Contender's Blessing was 5th and 7th in the Child Hi Jumpers.  Kim was 6th, 7th, and 8th on Janet Sparre's horse Calantino out of 17.  This was Calantino's first show ever.  Kiss My Class was 8th in the Level 2's out of 30.

The second week, Paige Drippe on her horse Under the Sun was 4th and 8th in the Child Hi Jumpers.  It was Paige's first time doing the jumpers and competing at the 3'6 level.  Kathleen was 8th out of 18 in the Child Hi Jumpers on Contender's Blessing.   Ashley Mclaren on Noble Call was 5th, 7th, and 8th out of 18-24 in the Maiden fences,  7th and 7th in Novice fences out of 22, and 7th and 6th out of 26-29 in the Saugerties Child Hunter over fences.   Emma Rowe on Ghepetto was 3rd in Maiden over fences out of 18, 7th out of 20 in Maiden flat, and 7th out of 26 in the Saugerties Child Hunter over fences.  Kim Mulligan was 5th out of 42 on Butterfly Rouge in the Level 4's, 8th out of 39 on Psalms 23 in the Level 5's, 3rd out of 33 in the Level 2's on Under The Sun, 4th in the Level 2's on Kiss My Class, 3rd out of 25 in Level 3 on Kiss My Class, and 5th out of 27 on Calantino in the Level 0's.

 

PRINCETON SHOW JUMPING
A great week for TBS in Princeton!! Tag your it was champion in the .90 jumpers. Annie Wilson and Ghepetto got 1st 3rd and 7th place in the pre-children's hunters! Kim Mulligan showed both of her horses in the Grand Prix, Butterfly Rouge ended up seventh out of 30 horses and Psalms 23 made it to the jump off and had an unfortunate rail at the second to last fence but had an impressive time of 37 seconds!!! This would of put her 4th. Go TBS!!!

N.C.M.T. March 30th
Conal Mueller on "Chasing the Dream" were 1st, 2-2nds, and 3rd which made them Reserve Champion in the Opportunity CT Training Hunter's 2 foot.  Selby Molley and "Ballerina" received 2- 1st's, and a 5th to become Reserve Champion in the Short Stirrup Division.  Ashley Mclaren and "Noble Call" swept the Low Child Jumper Division and were Champion.  Abby Steinkraus and "Bella Luna" were 2nd, and 3-5ths in the Opportunity CT Training Hunter Division.


HITS WEEK 8 OCALA 2014
"Butterfly Rouge" ended up winning 2 blues in the level 4's to become Champion in the division.  "Psalms 23" ended up 8th in the level 6's out of 40 plus.  She also blazed around the level 5 class to be 6th out of 51.   Sidney Marshman's new prospect " Europe" showed in the baby green hunters for the first time.

HITS WEEK 7  OCALA 2014
"Psalms 23" was 4th, 7th, and 8th in the level 5's out of 45 plus competitors.   "Butterfly Rouge" moved up and schooled around the  level 5's .

HITS WEEK 6 OCALA 2014
Week 2 of HITS for TBS starts out well. Elizabeth Regele on her horse "Tag Your It" was 2nd in the level 1's. Annie Wilson, our hunter rider, was 7th in the level 0 jumpers. "Butterfly Rouge" was 3rd in the level 4's and Porthos with Kim were 2nd in the level 2's.

Catch rides for the week; Paige Drippe is showing "Once a Warrior" and Hannah Regele is showing "Sabado".The rest of the week ended well.  Paige Drippe was 4th in the level 0's, 7th in the Child Low, and 8th in the Child Low Jumper Classic.  "Sabado" ended up 6th in the level 0's.  Logan Books on "Porthos" sped around the level 2's speed class and beat "Tag Your It", which put her 2nd.  Morgan Mclaren and "Inspiration's Leo" made it into the jump off  of the Child Low Jumper Classic and had the last rail down.  This put her just out of the ribbons.   Samantha Houle on "Kiss My Class" had a great trip in the Child Low Jumper Classic that put her 2nd.  Kathleen Flynn on "Contender's Blessing" ended up with a quarter time fault in the first round of the Child Low Jumper Classic.   "Butterfly Rouge" won a level 4 class which made he Reserve Champion in the Division.  "Psalms 23" was 4th in the level 4's.   Abby and Grace Steinkraus came down to be our cheerleaders.I wanted to congratulate all of you on doing such a great job.  The extra time you’ve been putting in has really paid off.  You should be proud of yourselves!!!!!

HITS WEEK 5 OCALA 2014
It was a great week for Twin Bays Stable at HITS Ocala. Annie and Ghepetto placed 2nd, 4th, 5th and 5th in the novice equitation and moved into the children's hunters. Sammy Houle and her horse Classy came in 3rd in the level 2's, Kim and Checkers came in 5th in the level 1's and 8th in the level 2's. Kim also did well on Butterfly Rouge, she won and ended up with reserve champion in the level 3's!!! After a successful week we are all excited for the weeks to come!!!

Great day for TBS.  Abby Steinkraus and Bella Luna were champion in the short stirrup .  Hannah Regele and Noble Call were champion in the Junior equitation.  Ashley Mclaren and Noble Call were reserve champion in the children's equitation with a clean sweep of three second places.  Sammy Houle was second in the CHJA junior medal aboard her new mount Kiss My Class  aka A Bit of Class.  Conal Mueller aboard Chasing the Dream and Paige Drippe aboard Under the Sun received numerous ribbons.

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 5

Janet Sparre and Chique were Reserve Champion in the Modified Hunter Division for the second week in a row.  They were 1st and 2nd.  Tori Haave and O-Star got ribbons in the .90 Division with a 3rd and two 4ths.  She is getting a hang of the jumpers for sure.  Hannah Regele and Noble Call were 3rd in the Child Jumper Lows, and 3rd in the .90 class.  Hannah was winning the class until the end.  Almost Hannah!  Kathleen Flynn moved up to the 1.15 Division and ended up 4th and 7th in the two classes.  She was also 9th in the Marshall and Sterling Jumper Classic.   Elizabeth Regele decided to do a little jumpers and a little hunters.  Who ever thought you could have a horse to do both.  She was 5th in the Adult Hunter over fences and 5th in the .90 jumper.  Sammy Houle and True Colors were 2nd in the Child Low Jumper class.  Psalms 23 ended up 8th in the 1.20 jumper class out of 30+.  Congrats to all!!!

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 4

Janet Sparre was Reserve Champion in the Modified Hunter Division with a  1st and 7 on Chique.  There were several ribbons in the .90 Division.  Elizabeth Regele on Tag your It was 6th and 8th, Hannah Regele on Noble Call got two 5ths , and Tori Haave on O-Star was 5th and two 7ths.  Hannah Regele was also 5th in the Child Low Jumper class.  Sammy Houle and True Colors were 3rd in the 1.0 jumpers and 11th in the Marshall and Sterling Ch High Jumper Classic.  A Bit of Class ended up 3rd and 8th in the 1.15 meter Division.

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 3

Sammy Houle and "True Colors" started her week off with a win in the 1.00 jumper class which made her Reserve Champion and was 11th today in her first NAL 3'6 jumper Classic.  Psalms 23 was 1st, 3rd, and 8th in the  1.30's.  She was one point short of being Reserve Champion in the Division.  A Bit of Class was 6th, 8th, and 8th in the 1.10.  She also ended up 6th in her first 1.15 class.  Kathleen Flynn was just bumped out of the ribbons in the NAL Classic.  Andrea Zaleski was 4th in the .90 on O-Star.  
July 17th----Amanda Schwartz  and "Bring it On" won the CHJA Adult Medal which qualifies her for the finals.  Congrats to Amanda.  Paige Drippe was 3rd and 4th in the CHJA and NEHC Medals on "Bring it On".  Logan Book was 3rd and 4th in the THIS and NEHC Medals on Porthos.

NEW CANAAN MOUNTED TROOP  July 7th

Congrats to Grace and Abby Steinkraus on their very first horse show.  Grace just started back riding in fall of 2012, after taking a few years off.  She started her riding career at New Canaan Mounted Troop.  Grace and "Chasing the Dream"  are becoming a great team.  She ended up winning a class among other ribbons in the 2' Division.  Her sister, Abby, only started riding 8 months ago and is already showing in the Short Stirrup Division.  She ended up with some thirds and fourths on her new mount "Bella Luna".     Amanda Schwartz rode "Bring It On" to win both the NEHC and the CHJA Medal classes.   Tori Haave and "O-Star" got some ribbons in the Child Eq. Division.  Great job girls!!!!


FAIRFIELD HUNT CLUB JUNE BENEFIT SHOW

Once again the race was on between Elizabeth and her daughter in the jumper division.  Elizabeth won a class and Hannah was second and third which tied them for CHAMPION.  Psalms 23 was CHAMPION with a first and second in the 1.20 division.  She was also second in the 1.30 class.   Annie Wilson and Logan Books picked up some ribbons in the Children Equitation.  Janet Sparre with "Chique" came home with a few ribbons in the Low and Baby Hunter classes.  

OX RIDGE JUNE SHOW

TBS had a busy but successful week!   Annie Wilson on Ghepetto moved up to the Children's Hunters and ended up with 4th, 4th, and 7th.  Annie decided to do a jumper class for fun and placed 7th.  Hannah Regele is on her second summer of showing in the jumpers.  She is now figuring out the slices and turns which put her 3rd, 5th and 7th in the jumpers.  Her mom, Elizabeth, went in the same division and came out with a 2nd.  Andrea Zaleski is also on her second season of jumpers.  She placed 4th in one of the jumper classes.  Logan Book is not only on her new mount named "Porthos", but is moving up to the 3' divisions.   Logan was 6th in her first low children jumper class and took 7th in the CHJA Junior Medal.  Sammy Houle was 3rd in one of the jumper classes.   Morgan Mclaren excelled in the low children jumpers with winning a class to put her RESERVE CHAMPION for the division.  Kathleen Flynn took 4th, 7th, and 8th in the 3'6 division.  She was double clear in the Marshall and Sterling Classic but ended up out of the ribbons.  Kim Mulligan rode Psalms 23  to a  2nd and  4th in the 1.30.  A Bit of Class was a star with winning 2- 1st places and a 5th.  She was CHAMPION in the  1.00 division.  

HITS 1

    Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we were still able to compete in a few classes.  Samantha Houle rocked the week with being 2nd in level 1,and winning two Ch Low Jumpers to become CHAMPION in the division.  Tori Haave had a great week for her first week show in the jumpers.  She took a 3rd and 7th in the Level 0's and 4th and 8th in the Level 1's.  For her first time showing this year, Kathleen Flynn took a 5th in the Level 3's and 6th in a Ch Hi Jumper class.  Janet's new horse, Chique, made her first appearance to a horse show in the US.  A fancy amateur- owner hunter in the making.

OLD SALEM FARM

   Stacy Book, who hasn't shown or jumped in years, ends up 3rd and 7th in the 2'6 jumper division on Elizabeth Regele's Tag You're It.  Elizabeth also showed her horse and was 4th in the same division.  Her daughter, Hannah, ended up 6th in the same class while Andrea Zaleski ended up 8th.   Sammy Houle was 1st and 6th in the 3' Training Jumper Division.
 Leah Taylor made her debut up to the 3' Children Hunters Division where she took a 6th place.  Stephanie Costabile was 5th and 6th in the Children Equitation Division while her friend Victoria Haave was 2nd and 7th.  Stephanie was also 7th in the Child Pony Hunter Division.  Courtney Plutte was 2nd in the THIS Medal, 4th in the Mini-Medal, and 8th in the Mini-MaClay.

FAIRFIELD CHJA FINALS

Fairfield was a fabulous week for TBS.  Leah Taylor was Champion in the Modified Hunter Division.  Kathleen Flynn ended up 6th in the Marshall and Sterling Child Jumper Classic.


There were 78 kids that competed in the CHJA Child Medal Finals.  Logan Book went 17th in the order and came out with a score of 81!!  Now she had to wait 61 more trips to see if she would stay in the top 10 to advance to the next phrase of the final.  Leah Taylor had a later spot in the order of go.  She ended up scoring on 80 right below Logan.  They both stayed in the top 10 which allowed them to advance into the flat portion of the class.   Logan ended up 7th in the finals with Miracles Happen, while Leah Taylor ended up 10th on Coltrane.  Congrats to the girls.

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 5

TBS ended the fifth week of Vermont on a high note.  Kathleen Flynn and Contender's Blessing were 7th in the Marshall and Sterling Child. Jumper Classic out of 31.   Leah Taylor and Coltrane were on fire this week.  They were Reserve Champion in the Modified Hunter Division and Champion in the Novice Equitation Division.  Courtney Plutte had an awesome ride in the THIS medal and ended up 3rd out of 30+ in the class.


VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 4

TBS  continues to rack up the ribbons in the third week of showing.     Elizabeth Regele and her daughter , Hannah Regele, finish the jump off with less than a 1/1o of a second apart, for the second week in a row .  This put them 5th and 6th in the placings.     Contender's Blessing made his debut in the 1.20 and ended  up 9th.  Courtney Plutte and Reuben Himself were 1st, 2nd,and 2nd in the Lg Young Junior Hunter Division.  They were 1 point away from receiving Reserve Champion.  Courtney was also 4th in the Junior Hunter Classic.

VERMONT SUMMER FESTIVAL WEEK 2 & 3

Week 2 and 3 of Vermont Summer Festival have been successful weeks, with 2 weeks left to go.    A few highlights over the past 2 weeks were Janet Sparre and Vegas winning the Ad Eq, 2nd & 5th in Ad Hunters,and getting  2- 6th places in the low hunters out of 56.  She was also Reserve Champion in the Ad Eq division.   Hannah Regele and Noble Call got 4th, 6th and 9th  in the .90 jumper division.    This was Hannah's first week of competing at  a USEF horse show.  Noble Call was also Champion in the 1.00 division.   Elizabeth Regele was 2nd, 3rd, among other ribbons in the .90 division.  She was also 5th and 9th out of 50 +.  Courtney Plutte and Bring It On were 1st in the Mini MaClay  and 2nd in the Junior Medal among other ribbons in the Equitation.  Logan Book on Miracles Happen were 2nd, 4th, and 5th in the Ch Pony Hunter Division.  Sammy Houle and True Colors were 2nd, 4th, and 6th in the Child Jumper lows.  Andrea Zaleski and O-Star were 2nd and 5th in the .90 division.  Leah Taylor and Coltrane were 3rd in the modified hunter.  They also played around in the .90 jumper division for the first time where she ended up 7th and 8th!  Kathleen Flynn was 4th in Ch Jumper Hi, 5th in 1.10, and 7th in 1.00.


OX RIDGE HUNT CLUB

It was a fantastic week at the Ox Ridge June Show.  The biggest highlight was Logan Book and Miracles Happen (available for lease) in their first 2'6 FW-PHA Hunter Derby.  They ended up 3rd out of 26 in the class.



ST. CLEMENTS SARATOGA HORSE SHOW WEEK 2

Twin Bays Stable was on fire the second week of Saratoga.  Leah Taylor and "Miracles Happen" were Reserve Champion in the Child Pony Hunter Division for the second week in a row.  She also was 2nd in the Marshall and Sterling Pony Classic with Stephanie Costabile coming in 3rd on "Ring for the Butler".  Leah went on to ride "Coltrane" to a Champion in the Modified Hunter Division. Courtney Plutte and "Reuben Himself" received a 2nd along with other ribbons in the Large Junior Hunter Division.  She also rode "Bring It On" to become Champion in the Limit Division with a 1st and 2nd.  Sammy Houle and "True Colors" were Reserved Champion in the Maiden Equitation Division.  She missed Champion by 1 point.  Then Sammy switched over to the jumpers where she won a class and ended up 3rd in the Low Child Jumper Classic.  Kathleen Flynn on "Noble Call"were 2nd  in the High Child Jumper Marshall and Sterling Classic.  Tori Haave's on "O-Star" were 2nd among other ribbons in the Maiden Eq. and Modified Hunter Divisions.  Kim and "Butterfly Rouge" were 3rd and 4th in the 1.30 classes.

ST. CLEMENTS SARATOGA HORSE SHOW WEEK 1

The first week of Saratoga came and went so fast. Leah Taylor and "Miracles Happen" kicked off the weekend with a 2nd and 3rd.  She finished the weekend with a 1st and two 2nds which made her Reserve Champion in the Child Pony Hunter Division.  Leah was also 3rd in the Marshall and Sterling Hunter Classic.  Sammy Houle on "True Colors "came out 2nd in the Low Child Jumper class  and 7th in the Low Child Jumper Classic.  Not bad for the first time competing at a week show in the jumpers.   Courtney Plutte on "Reuben Himself" received several ribbons in the Large Junior Hunter Division.   Kim Mulligan on "Butterfly Rouge" was 6th in the 1.30 class

 


OX RIDGE 1 DAY SHOW

Everyone rode great at the Ox Ridge show on Sat.Kathleen Flynn WON the Marshall and Sterling Jumper Classic. She was pumped to win some money.  Sammy Houle's first time in the 3 foot jumpers and came out with some good ribbons.  Tracy Thomson and "Capital Risk" were Reserve Champion in the adult hunter division with 2 blues over fences.  Leah Taylor was on fire. She won a Child eq over fences and the CHJA Medal.   Logan Books, Tori Haave, Stephanie Costabile , and Andrea Zaleski also got some great ribbons. This was Tori's and Steph's first "C" rated horse show. It was Andrea's first time in the speedy jumpers!!


NEW CANAAN MOUNTED TROOP ONE DAY SHOW

The Twin Bays Stable kids did a phenomenal job at the New Canaan Mounted Troop show this past weekend.  Leah Taylor and "Coltrane" were Reserve Champion in the Low Hunter Division and won the FW-PHA 2'6 medal.    Kathleen Flynn and "Noble Call" won both the CHJA and NEHC Medals.  Courtney Plutte and "Bring It On"  won both the Junior Eq over fences which made   her  Champion for the Division.  She also won the THIS Medal and was 2nd in the CHJA Medal.  Logan Book on "Miracles Happen" and Samantha Houle on "True Colors" also acquired numerous ribbons.
